A lovely message from a participant's family
Hi Matthew and all at Home Care Helpers,
We are very grateful for all the help and support that you have given both Ana and I and our father and thank you for your heartfelt condolences.
Without your support life would have been much more difficult. Dad was very happy with all of your staff, even if the dementia did sometimes rear its ugly head. We hope that Ariana is ok and would like her to know that dad really liked her and only said the nicest things about her. The empathy and attitude of your staff is very commendable and we are very happy to have had you on board with us. Thank you for the pictures of dad fishing, they certainly brought out the best in him, and the cheekiness too, it certainly brought a tear to our eyes, and that is how we would like to remember him.
The only thing we ask of you is that you keep up the good work and continue to be the wonderful supportive people that you are, you restore our faith in humanity, especially in the days that we live in now. Thank you very much for everything that you have done for us.

Lovely comments from clients warms our heart
"Pure Joy"
After explaining to Mrs G that we wash our hands regularly to ensure that we do not spread germs, her response was, “Darling, the only thing you are spreading here in this house is just pure joy"
"Someone that's interested"
While taking Mr E for a walk around Narrabeen Lake he said, “Thankyou for doing this. It's nice to get out of the house and talk to someone that's interested in what I have to say."

During a shopping trip to Coles Newport, Mrs B commented “I am so grateful for you. You know, this is my first time to the shops in 8 months! I feel like a kid in a candy store.”

Mrs A had pressed the wrong button on her remote control and unintentionally changed her Netflix settings to French. "Oh, you clever thing, I knew you'd be able to fix it. I've been watching The Crown in French for the past week and I don't speak French. Thank goodness I have you."
